Leesa's mattresses range from $525 to $1195. Eight's smart mattresses range from $699 to $1599, but their standard collection (without technology) is in the same price range as Leesa.

Leesa offers all standard sizes for their bed. Eight's smart collection does not offer twin or twin XL sizes, but their standard collection (without technology) does.
Both of these beds use quality foams, but Eight is the only bed to offer sleep tracking, bed warming, a personalized sleep coach, and smart home integrations. Eight also offers three different comfort models ranging from medium-soft, medium firm, and firm.

As far as features, Leesa's Avena top layer is supposed to make the bed a bit cooler, but once you put a sheet on it's not very noticeable. Both the Leesa and Sapira models only offer three layers.

Eight has different comfort models, so it can accommodate side sleepers, back sleepers, and stomach sleepers. The Purple mattress generally only offers one comfort level.

For the best motion isolation, we recommend the Jupiter+ by Eight since it has a special motion isolation layer. The Leesa bed was average in this category.
Both the Mars+ and the Sapira have coils in between the foam layers, so there is a slight extra bounce for those models. If you have a partner that tosses and turns a lot, this is something you should keep in mind.
